Dan Wheeler has been placed on waivers by the Milwaukee Brewers.

If you wish to claim said player, please send a PM to this account (Free Agency Account) acknowledging your claim. For a claim to be valid, it must be received within 48 hours of this post. In the offseason, the order of who wins the claim is in the inverse standings of the previous year. During the season, it's the same deal, except with the current season's records.

Once a team wins the claim, the two teams have 72 hours to work out one of the following:

- Option 1: The team that claimed the player and the team that posted the player can work out a trade involving any players. After the trade deadline, though, only players on the 10-Man minor league roster may be traded for a claimed player on waivers. This option is similar to the old “Trading Waivers” rule.

- Option 2: If after the time limit a deal is not reached, the team that posted the player on waivers can elect to receive nothing in return for the player, much like the old “Irrevocable Waivers” rule. The franchise that claimed said player is responsible for this player’s contract in full, and therefore is awarded this player. The team that placed this player on waivers no longer has any contractual responsibility.

- Option 3: The team that posted the player on waivers can simply elect to keep the player on their roster.

Once a decision has been made, post it here. If a trade is made, post it in the Trade Review section. If a deal is made after the Trade Deadline, all players in the trade must pass waivers or have been claimed by the other team. Minor leaguers, however, don't have to pass through waivers.

Remember, players can only be put on waivers three times a season.
